Hold fate in the palm of your hand. The Babaylan serves as the gamemaster, and is responsible for giving players their roles, drawing Kapalaran or Event cards, announcing what took place during the night, and awakening players to allow them to take their actions.
They also cannot vote or take any actions, cannot win or lose, and cannot be targeted by any vote or action throughout the game. They are also not allowed to participate in discussion periods, as they must remain impartial throughout the game.
